THE CHALLENGE

Migrating from legacy banking systems to a centralized digital banking platform

NKGSB relied on legacy banking technology that supported many operational processes outside the core banking environment. These fragmented processes reduced visibility, limited operational control, and slowed the bank’s ability to introduce new digital services.

Implementing Finacle core banking to modernize enterprise banking operations

UST Modus delivered a structured Finacle banking software implementation program that replaced NKGSB’s legacy banking environment with a centralized modern enterprise banking platform.

The engagement focused on enabling a secure core banking migration service that supported operational continuity while transforming the bank’s digital capabilities without disruption.

UST Modus implemented the Finacle CBS implementation to establish a centralized banking environment that unified branch operations and improved operational control across the bank’s network.



The team used a phased approach to migrate legacy banking system data into the new system. Multiple validation runs ensured data integrity, consistency, and accuracy before final deployment.

The transformation enabled multi-channel banking integration, connecting Finacle with ATM networks, mobile banking, electronic payments, and clearing systems, including NEFT, RTGS, and NACH.

After rigorous testing and simulation runs, the team executed a synchronized, bank-wide rollout, deploying the new Finacle system across all branches simultaneously in a single, coordinated cutover.

A structured train-the-trainer program prepared branch employees for the transition. This approach ensured rapid user adoption and operational readiness before go-live.
