India’s first experience with connected mobility
UST Moonraft engaged with Mahindra e2o to design and develop a telematic mobile app for India's first electric car. This application gives complete control to the consumer to operate as well as check car parameters straight from his/her phone. It incorporates essential features that remove the usual pain point associated with electric vehicles. The app was designed to transcend the car experience to device of the user.

NEED
Overcoming anxiety and a lack of awareness associated with a new concept
Being the first electric car in India, there was a strong need to address the anxieties and lack of awareness associated with the concept. Concerns around issues like range, battery recharge ecosystem, and maintenance needed to be prioritized and addressed in the simplest manner possible.
SOLUTION
A tailored approach to the future of mobility
Connected cars opened up multiple possibilities of translating actual physical features into digital ones through mobile devices. The interactive design for the telematic app was born out of thorough user research which identified hidden anxieties and incentives. Features such as ease of use through a one-hand operation, range check, and a reserve power boost to address range anxiety were revealed. The application made adoption easier by making sense of the massive amounts of data available and making sense of it in the user's context.
