Our client, one of the nation's largest healthcare purchasing organizations, provides group purchasing aggregation and performance improvements for its members. It serves more than 1,600 hospitals and health systems and over 55,000 locations nationwide, including ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, long-term care, and alternate care sites.
The client operated in a complex technical environment with more than 12 integrated systems spanning more than 10 business units. Its legacy QA processes made it difficult to develop and maintain third-party applications using modern DevOps practices or streamline application development lifecycles through closer coordination between software development and IT operations.
